A one day workshop “Elevate” was organised by the B.B.A. department Shoolini Institute of Life Sciences and Business Management on 4th April 2019. The main objective of the Workshop was to familiarize final year students with the emerging ideas and trends on how to develop personality in the 21st century contexts. The programme also aimed to teach participants to work with various professionals, people and groups to understand the meaning of life and work in the present context; to enhance their communication skills and interpersonal skills in order to function in professional and social settings effectively; to enrich the academic language skills; to understand effective planning, time management and implementation for setting goals and achieving both personal and professional goals; to learn to evaluate oneself (self-appraisal and introspection) for further growth, personally and professionally.
The workshop started with the inauguration done by the Chairperson, SILB Mrs.Saroj Khosla and was also graced by the presence of Prof. Atul Khosla Pro-vice Chancellor Shoolini University.This workshop was organised for B.B.A. final year. Mrs. Saroj Khosla Chairperson SILB inaugurated the programme with a speech focusing on personality. She also focused on the importance of workshop like personality development and Communication skills. Four English skills core sessions (Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking) were taken by Dr.Shallu Sehgal and Sakshi Gautam; Post lunch session focused on Body language and gestures was taken by Dr.Daman Preet Kaur H.O.D. B.B.A department and Dr.Shallu Sehgal as they showed the students the importance of communication skills and also gave some importance tips on personality development. The guest of honour Prof. Atul Khosla Pro-vice Chancellor Shoolini University inspired the students with his motivational words and he also motivated the students to set the direction in their efforts. The Workshop was Co-ordinated by Ms.Sakshi Gautam. The vote of thanks was further extended by H.O.D.
